Hi hi! I should wait to make this post until after the event is over but.. I’m hoping this is all I buy LOL!
The games I bought during the Steam 2025 Winter Sale: (prices and why)
Little Corners: $6 (all in USD). I bought this because I played the demo during the Demo Fest a while back and LOVED the game. I’m not particularly good at decorating but I really love calming cozy games like this. Plus it was simple in a way that is nice for a day when your brain can’t seem to do much. But it can still be complex in the way you decorate!
Toy Tinker Simulator: (i feel like this was free at some point so maybe yeah..) Okay it’s currently 77 cents on sale but I think it was one of the free games. It has mixed reviews. Doesn’t look AWFUL but yeah.. it was free so LOL.
Sprout Valley: I think it was $3 on sale or in a small bundle with Dreamland Farm and Cottonville. The Nintendo Switch had these 3 games in a bundle on sale and this game, while I only played 10 minutes on my Switch, was such a great head empty game. So I wanted to snag it up on Steam.
Dreamland Farm: Same as Sprout Valley.
Cursed to Golf: In one of BeatEmUp’s youtube videos, he was sponsored by this game. He said a friend made it and the gameplay he showed did look really fun. Plus I love golf games for some reason. And this was like.. $2? So I snagged it.
Cottonville: Same as Sprout Valley.
Whisper of the House: $12. This has been on my radar for a few months I think? It seems like a more complex version of Unpacking (one of my most favorite cozy games of all time). I wish Unpacking made more games, but since they didn’t, games like Whisper of the House came out. And I’m glad they did. The art style looks AMAZING! I had to snag.
Natsu-Mon 20th Century Country Kid: This one is an interesting one. It seems cute and cozy. Very “Crayon Shin Chan” vibes. Which I think it is LOL. I also want to buy “Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town” but it’s $21 and like.. do I NEED it? I don’t play most of my games LOL. Maybe I will. Yep. Just bought the Shin Chan game right now L O L. Bad influence I am.. ($22). Natsu-Mon was $20. Seems like a good price for a beautiful looking game.

Dread Weight: Okay this and Cooking Companions has been on my radar for a while now. The art is super cute. $7 per game. Maybe a bundle deal. Here’s what the store says about this game: “Trapped in a crumbling mansion, it’s up to you to outsmart and outlast an ancient witch hunting you down. Scavenge for items to set traps, solve puzzles and discover hidden secrets to avoid your demise. Don’t be scared: encounters with ghosts are rewarded in this horror visual novel” Noice.
Cooking Companions: $7 roughly. “Unravel the mystery in this cute psychological horror VN, set deep in the woods of the Tatras Mountains. Will you wind up on the chopping block?” I really like Visual Novels so I finally grabbed this one. I hope it’s good!
The Hundred Line – Last Defense Academy: $42. I love this art style. Danganronpa go brrr. It looked like Fire Emblem a bit with the way the gameplay went and I love the game creator so I was like.. yeah I’ll snag it. I wanna support the guy!
That’s all for now! Overall.. good variety of games. I’d say most of these would be great on my Steam Deck! It says it’s being packed and shipped soon so.. I can’t wait! I hope I get it soon so I can play it over the next few days I have off of work for Christmas. See ya in the next blog post!
Love, Tama
