This is what the Steam page says. This game.. I played about 40 minutes of it.. and.. at first.. I wasn’t sure if I was liking the game. The narration was a bit strange to start. I didn’t fully grasp the story, I wasn’t sure how I felt about the game elements.. but then.. levels kept unfolding and then.. woah. Yeah. this might be a day 1 buy for me.

I didn’t take very many screenshots while playing because I was so enamored by the visuals and gameplay. It’s.. how do you explain it. Like a very simple puzzle… but also like a coloring page? Well, yeah that’s what the store page says LOL.

While listening to the narrator speak, you are given wooden blocks that fit somewhere in the given frame. Like the above photo, anything that needs a missing piece will be that pale soft cream color. When you place the block in the correct spot, it goes from bland cream to whatever color it is, example: orange for the fox. See how bad I am at words? teehee.

As the game went on, I got more and more into the story, but still felt a disconnect with it. That’s just a personal issue I tend to have with games, which is why I struggle with playing story and story driven games. If it isn’t written well.. or it’s not compelling.. sheesssshhh I stop playing. Right at the very end though.. the first photo in this blog popped up.

Boom. Dead serious, had a little bit of tears in my eyes. You see, the whole story so far was this little fox who loves his electronics and talking to his friends online. He got sent somewhere over the summer and there was NO WIFI. and MEAN ducks! And as the game and puzzles and story kept going, I was like.. okay… okay.. alright.. it didn’t really click with me. Until that last bit about his best friend. It made me go. oh. well. okay. yeah. The entire story then felt like it had a purpose.

TLDR.. great game. beautiful visuals. day 1 buy from me.
